Our Founder
Kenya Beale, founder of Braystone Outreach Ministries, Inc., established the organization on June 5, 2025, out of her own lived experience and unwavering faith. Having overcome life’s hardships firsthand, she felt a deep calling to walk alongside others facing similar challenges. Her journey of resilience and renewal inspired the creation of a ministry that bridges faith and action, offering housing, healing, and hope. Kenya’s leadership is marked by compassion, determination, and a belief that everyone deserves stability, dignity, and a future filled with purpose.
Our Mission
Our mission is to relieve the poor and distressed by providing transitional housing and supportive services to veterans, individuals experiencing homelessness, and low-income adults in a non-denominational setting.
Our Vision
To established transitional housing worldwide, offering safe shelter, outreach, and personalized support to those in crisis. We walk alongside individuals toward self-sufficiency, restoring dignity and hope through compassionate, faith-rooted care.
Faith-Guided, Not Faith-Forced
We believe in the power of faith to heal and transform—but participation in spiritual services is always optional. Our support is available to all, regardless of religious affiliation.

We’re not just offering a bed for the night. Our transitional housing provides stability and structure so residents can rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.

We honor our veterans and welcome all who are struggling. Our services are designed with an inclusive lens and a trauma-informed approach to foster healing and empowerment.
Partnerships & Affiliations
Braystone Outreach Ministries, Inc. is proud to be recognized and connected with state and federal networks that support our mission to serve vulnerable populations. We are currently:
✅ Approved for HMIS (Homeless Management Information System) access through the North Carolina Coalition to End Homelessness (NCCEH)
✅ Licensed with the North Carolina Charitable Solicitation Licensing Division
✅ Issued a UEI (Unique Entity ID) and DUNS Number for federal funding eligibility
✅ Assigned a CAGE Code, allowing us to register for and apply to government contracts

Transitional Housing

Referrals to Vital Services
We connect individuals with trusted partners in mental health care, addiction recovery, medical care, and more.
Life Skills & Job Readiness Training
Workshops and mentorship focused on budgeting, interviewing, workplace behavior, and long-term employment success.
Community Outreach & Support
Programs that meet immediate needs—clothing, hygiene kits, food—as well as ongoing community involvement.

Braystone Outreach Ministries, Inc. is an independent, 501(c)(3) faith-based nonprofit organization serving the local community. We are not affiliated with First United Methodist Church, though we operate in the office building next door under a facilities use agreement. Our outreach programs and services are managed separately.
